Types of Volunteer Opportunities
1. Volunteering in Schools
Support local education by teaching English, art, or sports to children in remote villages. No formal degree required, just a willingness to share and learn.
2. Volunteering in Orphanages
Offer companionship, basic education support, and creative workshops to orphaned children. Help build confidence and joy through daily interaction and emotional support.
3. Community-Based Volunteering
Assist in local development work such as water systems, women empowerment projects, or environmental awareness campaigns. Immerse in authentic Nepali life.
4. Farmstay Volunteering
Join organic farms and help with planting, harvesting, composting, and animal care. This is a great way to learn about Himalayan agriculture and sustainability.
5. Trail Cleaning & Trek Support
Take part in eco-volunteering by cleaning trekking trails and supporting maintenance in the region. These short-term efforts help preserve nature and promote responsible tourism.
