In order to catch the glimpse of the sunrise, from Ghodepani it takes about 1-hour uphill climb to reach the Poonhill. You might not like the climb but once you reach the top all the fatigue will automatically phase out as you will be witnessing one of the most beautiful sunrises of your lifetime. The cold breeze will feel like it's freezing but the warmth of the first rays of the sun will make you want to spend more time on the top.
The trail passes through forests which let you peek at the snow peaks through the trees, along the way small streams of clean water make the trek more interesting climbing down. The settlement Tadapani is also an important part of the trek as it is the last night that you will spend on this trek. Sunsets and sunrises are mostly beautiful from here if not obstructed by the clouds. From here it's all the way down through the forests, on a lucky day one might be able to witness wildlife like the Langur and other small creatures.
After reaching the famous village of Ghandruk you will be able to witness the lifestyle of people which is quite unique. The stone steps, stone houses, and majestic view of the snow mountains make this place famous. From here you can get a vehicle and go back to Pokhara the city of lakes.
